Our mission at Tulip Hair Studio is to provide an exceptional experience to our clients by elevating the lives of the stylists who serve them. We truly believe that a happy, fulfilled stylist creates the most beautiful work.

To support this mission we offer the freedom of booth rent with a fair and transparent commission pay structure, allowing you to create your most idyllic career.

So what does that look like?


Create your own career, by design…

You can work as many (or as few) hours as you’d like and with our simplified, all-inclusive hourly pricing structure, you have the ability to customize each guests’ appointment to suit their needs. In addition, you have the power to determine your own prices, giving you complete control over your income (without needing to double book).

Control your service offerings…

You are free to decide what services are on your menu and our “Session Finder” will help ensure that you only see the clients you feel like align with your specialty. You can view and manage your own schedule with an easy to use app, and will be in direct contact with your clients, so your client list is always yours.

No pressure to sell and meet retail goals…

We carry very limited retail in the salon and cannot offer high commissions on these items, so we will help you get set up with your own affiliate links for the products we offer so that you can earn and keep more commission on your retail sales!

Further your craft with provided education…

We will cover any classes you want to enroll in up to $500 per year and will bring educators in when opportunities present themselves. We also have an iMac in our breakroom with access to TONS of virtual education that is available to you at any time.

Consider this an open relationship…

You won’t find any non-compete contracts here. We have no problem with you working at other salons, taking other jobs and/or freelancing. We fully support your freedom to do what is best for you.
